An IP65 seal closes the housing completely against dust and driven rain, and the frame is matte black stainless steel rather than coated mild steel, so the finish will not blister or streak with rust at the fixings. The rectangular profile is 3.15 inches wide and 1.57 inches deep, shallow enough to sit above a door frame without crowding it.
Two models are available. The standard version lights continuously from a wall switch. The sensor version brings the fixture up as someone approaches and drops it once they leave, which cuts running hours sharply on a corridor or side entrance that is only used a few times a night. Three lengths, 12.6, 23.6 and 31.5 inches, draw 20W, 30W and 40W respectively.
